Demokratiske prosesser er lovlige måter å påvirke samfunnet på i et demokrati. 

Examples of democratic processes:

• – Voting in elections to influence who makes decisions.
• – Joining a party, participating in debates or getting involved in organizations.
• – Submitting responses to consultations or speaking out publicly.
• – Using the judicial system to have the legality of a case assessed.
