American Revolutionary War

The American War of Independence was a major war of the American Revolution. Widely considered as the war that secured the independence of the United States. The American Patriots were supported by the Kingdom of France and, to a lesser extent, the Kingdom of Spain and the Dutch Republic, in a conflict taking place in North America, the Caribbean, and the Atlantic Ocean.
