LGBT is abbreviation for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender: relating to or characteristic of people who are not heterosexual (= sexually or romantically attracted to women if you are a man, and men if you are a woman) or who are not cisgender (= having a gender that matches the body you were born with).
