The heroine of Orléans
This is a fantastic story about the farm girl Joan of Arc. She followed heavenly guidance, led an army, and became a martyr during the Hundred Years’ War. She cried out loud when she was led to the bonfire where she would be burned alive. What had she really done wrong?
Joan was a political person who could have changed how the Hundred Years’ War ended.
⬅ Joan’s famous white banner was decorated with lilies, a flower that is normally associated with the French monarchy, which she was fighting for.

The coronation
Everyone was amazed, including Charles. Joan was viewed as a heroine. Her next plan was to march on Reims so that Charles could be crowned there. The towns gave up without a fight and opened the gates. 14 days later, Charles was crowned with Joan and her banner next to him.
⬅ Jeanne received an audience with the king, but for her safety she had to wear men’s clothing just to arrive there.
